MONEY TO BURN.

So recently I've been spending money LIKE IT IS CHRISTMAS.
(Even though I don't do Christmas?)
But I have been gripped by consumerism and it has been wonderful.

Occasionally, I am hit by pangs of perhaps guilt relating to spending, so I thought, to allay my occasional guilty feelings, I should blog about these recent purchases and why they are so integral to my life.

1. Michael Palin tickets!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npjOSLCR2hE
When I was young and impressionable and young I did a project on Michael Palin and DRESSED UP AS A LUMBERJACK. OH MAN yes this really happened. I can't find a photograph but thank your lucky stars because otherwise they may have been dire, unseeable consequences.
SO I like Michael Palin and I sent him a fan letter and got an autographed photograph back (treasured item), and now he's coming to Melbourne to wax lyrical. GUYS!!!
So it is only in November but I am excited already.

2. A Cat Galaxy T-Shirt
I bought this last Thursday whilst at university. I was feeling horribly ill, yet was continuing to browse the internet. THIS, friends, is not a cohesive combination. I am not so sure that I was in my right mind/my head was doing such pirouettes, and then I ended up buying this t-shirt. I had had my eye on it for a while, but had decided it was not a necessity. BUT THEN I bought it anyways.

3. A T-Shirt That Says Meow.
Because this is obviously an essential item that I was desperately in need of for my wardrobe.
Or something like that?
(Oh YEAH and Asos had 25% off)

4. A RRR Membership.
RRR are awesome. I now have a RRR sticker on my (dad's) car, which makes me feel 1000000% more worthy for life in general. I've been given amazing opportunities through RRR to present and produce shows, which has given me a real passion/enthuse for radio. They support local communities and THEY ARE JUST all-round great.
(You should probably subscribe too)

5. The World's Worst Disasters Tape Cassette
"Fully dramatised and with music and sound effects" - HOW COULD I NOT?
But in all srs, I have a cassette player in the car and I thought this may be soothing to my ears, as I commute from place to other place. It was made in 1988, so also will be interesting to see how sfx and related were done then. DYK that they recorded onto TAPE reels back then? Oh my lordy lords.
Ps it was only 50c.
