It was hot today,
I got sunburnt in my excitement.
I ate a lemon icypole;
which wasn't quite as good as I remembered it to be.
I think icypoles are more exciting when you're yet young and frivolous
(although they are nice and lovely on a sunny day)
I got a banana for a present the other day:
I have not yet eaten it; I'm waiting for it to ripen to perfection. Although I am excited; bananas are a rarity in these banana-drought times. Will have it with porridge and macadamia nuts and cinnamon.
And I don't really know you, but I like to have imaginary conversations inside my head
