How Does It Feel?

raining rain dripping and dropping drooping slowly calm gentle
a soothing tattoo in the background of the daytime
the nighttime, the white sky, the no-time
the envelope of the sky folds cautious, embracing
the moisture in the air hugging with clammy hands,
sticky persistent.
drops streak down dirty windows
slow motion, time slow.
time slow now, this here
summer of Life,
An Eternal Summer.
How Does It Feel?
 how can you know,
  how can i know?
the future
The Future:
beckons waves gestures caresses encourages greets welcomes cheers chats hassles laughs giggles gasps cries, feels apprehension in
 w a v e s
w a s h i n g over like hypnotism in the nighttimes.
young and enamoured with possibility
or impossibility.
daunting, daunted by mountains, or ever-stretching desert disappearing into hazy sunset,
a hazy time, ambiguous and wild,
wild youth wild life, free in knowledge, restricted by fear and
  spiked doubt,
misgivings, a cold hand on a shaking heart.
