return of the jedi (not a star wars fan)

Dear blog

From now on, me and you, we shall closer in our friendship. I fear time has pulled us apart; my visits are infrequent, my posts short. I miss your company, and you, I don’t doubt, miss mine. (or not. But we can only hypothesise).

So here I am, today shall be the first of many long and lovely posts. (but maybe not always lovely).

Let us overlook the fact that I am in fact procrastinating the most monstrous of university assignments, that really, does not deserve an iota of my time. And my time is not even tat precious. Unfortunately for myself and my Top-Model consumed evening, this delectable assignment is worth 30% of a subject grade and is due tomorrow. Joy to the world etcetera.

I am writing this in Word, due to the temporary collapse of my wireless internet, and I must say I prefer writing online, without the aid of spell and grammar check. I used to be quite the ace speller in my youth, always partaking (and winning yeahh) in the school spelling bee. What a nerd. But, despite my early promise, I feel as if my spelling skillz dat killz have somewhat stabilised since those promising times of grade 5 and 6. I’m not a shocking speller, neither am I bad, but I always spell transistional with an added ‘s’. Why? I’m not sure. Say it though: transitional. That ‘s’ makes sense, I’ll tell you.

What prompted this semi rant/reflection was Microsoft Word’s vicious attack of my second paragraph. Copious amounts of red and green underline. (And there it goes again). I find the grammar underline the scariest; I never know whether or not to trust the autocorrect, or go with my own frivolously-phrased sentences. Life is an adventure kids, go with it.

Gotye is a gawwwd.
